Digital Agent engineers solve complex puzzles for our customers every day. Can you solve the Puzzle we created for you?

Gasoline is pumped into a non-empty tank at a changing rate. The volume of gas in the tank doubles every minute and the tank is filled in 10 minutes. How many minutes did it take for the tank to be half full?

If the amount of gas in the tank doubles every minute, then it would be half-full one minute before it gets full. Since it is full at 10 minutes, it must be half-full at 9 minutes.
